About The Project

I created iMed, a medicine delivery service app that delivers your medicine to your doorstep within 24hrs. This app caters to various user profiles in need of ordering medicines for their ailments. This app allows users to

  • Search for medicines

  • Order medicines

  • Get basic information about medicines

  • Compare alternative options available for the medicines

  • Provide order tracking information

  • Live chat a physician for advice

  • To buy prescriptive medicine

  • Scan and upload prescriptive medicine documents.

The Problem

iMed is a newly established brand; hence they need to promote their brand awareness. On the other hand, many iMed’s competitors are well-established companies Online and Off-line.

The Solution

  • To design the user experience and interface to ensure that it helps to increase conversion rates while encompassing best-in-class usability and aesthetics across the app interface

  • Add in new features and trust markers to win the users’ trust

empathize

Through empathy, we are able to put ourselves in other people’s shoes and connect with how they might be feeling about their problem, circumstance, or situation. I drafted interview scripts and conducted interviews with 3 different target audience identify in the design strategy stage.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNT

Reflection

This is my first UX/UI project using XD to do the prototype. I use an iterative design approach for this project to deliver a great user experience. This project allows me to cover the entire user-centred Design lifecycle - from strategic positioning and research to designing the interaction for products and services. The other takeaway for me is learning how to apply PET tools appropriately. When people trust the information and choices presented, they are less likely to feel a need to go elsewhere. A good way to retain the users and convert them to become our loyal users.
